Future Buff Interest Check

Wed, 24 Jun 2026 00:03:00 GMT

*dusts off this thing yet again to share something cool my orig alter ego is doing with skuzzybunny*

skuzzybunny and I have long been sad that there's not more fun masc x masc sapphic stuff out there that's our flavor of masc x masc, so we decided to put feelers out there to see if anyone else would be interested in participating in or reading a zine about it.

We're calling the project future buff, and an interest check will be posted on socials on July 1. I thought I'd post about it here as well in case anyone on flist was willing/wanted to share some thoughts about such a thing. We'll be looking for writers, artists, and readers' opinions.

You can find up to date info about the project at our:
website
bsky
tumblr
instagram

And if you're on any of the above platforms, a share would be great!

Outside of that, if anyone has some recs for cool masc x masc stuff they've enjoyed, I'm all ears to hear about it.

Dusting this guy off to whine about fandom, but ugh. I knew being in a juggernaut fandom for the juggernaut ship so long would eventually ruin me, but now that I’ve had multiple rare fandom and rare fandom + rare ship loves crop up since the juggernaut love faded… it sucks lol. I wish my tastes weren’t so divergent from general exchange fandom’s. I have been seriously contemplating going back to that just with the hope I won’t starve.

Anyway, if you love weirdly wholesome but also kind of toxic rock dramas with bizarre dips into D/s vibes, women getting revenge horror subplots, and Machida Keita yearning for a man in what isn’t a BL, but also isn’t not a BL in his heart and performance, watch Glass Heart. ✌️ It’s ten 35-50isn min eps and it altered my brain chemistry. (Note cw for serious health issue that is a plot driving element but also isn’t focused on in its medical aspects.)

Relationships
Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian | Lan Wangji/Mo Xuanyu | One-Sided Mo Xuanyu/Wei Wuxian | Mo Xuanyu/Nie Mingjue

Summary
Wei Wuxian fell in love with Lan Wangji while attending etiquette classes for submissives at Cloud Recesses. Thirteen years later, they meet by chance at the club where Wei Wuxian has been unhappily working as a contracted Dominant. Even more devastating, Wei Wuxian discovers Lan Wangji has collared himself a pretty, perfect young submissive named Mo Xuanyu.

Determined to help, Lan Wangji, one of the few who knows Wei Wuxian is a submissive, buys out the last six months of his contract and brings him home to live with him and Mo Xuanyu.

In his wildest dreams, Wei Wuxian would spend those months submitting to Lan Wangji, but what Lan Wangji is offering might be even more painful than dominating others against his nature: a front row seat to watching the love of his life love another submissive instead.
